InterPartner Supplier summit with one of the world's leading brewery groups
Owned by ABInBev, Grupo Modelo is the largest brewery group in Mexico with a market share of 57.8%. The brewer employs more than 30,000 people and has 7 breweries in Mexico (Torreon, Mexico, Guadalajara, Tuxtepec, Mazatlan, Cd. Obregon, Zacatecas). Grupo Modelo has an annual beer production of 46 million hectoliters, and exports its beer to most countries of the world. Export brands include Corona, Victoria, Modelo, and Pacífico.
The Grupo Modelo Technofair 2016 was designed for discussions of various break-through technologies and optimization solutions within the area of Brewery process innovation, Packaging solutions and Future technologies. The Technofair had two parallel tracks – one comprising brewery people and one with packaging people. 18 supplier presentations/discussions over 1,5 days in Mexico City was carried out.
Grupo Modelo participated with 30+ key executives from head quarter and the Latam region, incl. people from Zone Technology Development (ZTD), Zone Brewery Support (ZBS), Zone Quality Assurance (ZQA), Disruptive Growth Operations (DGO), Procurement), Vertical Operations, and Energy & Fluids.
The positive feedback from Grupo Modelo show that the expectations to the Technofair was met. We look forward to continue our good work in the future.
